Narrative
MORRILL CO., NE – A 27-year-old man died last Tuesday in a multi-vehicle crash involving two semis and a passenger vehicle in west-central Morrill County.
Around 3 p.m., emergency teams responded to Highway 26, just west of Bridgeport on the far-west side of Nebraska.
Police haven’t yet specified the cause of the accident or the manner in which the three vehicles collided.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, identified as Maverick Miller, died at the scene of the wreck.
Miller was a para educator for Bridgeport Public Schools. At the time of the collision, he was transporting a student in his vehicle.
Medics transported the student to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
It’s unclear if either of the truck drivers sustained injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
