Narrative
PLEASANTON, NE – One teen died, and three others were hurt last Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash in north-central Buffalo County.
The accident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Grand Island Road and Cherry Road, which is on the southeastern outskirts of Pleasanton.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the 17-year-old male driver of a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and crashed. The impact caused the pickup to overturn, throwing the driver from the vehicle.
The driver died at the scene of the accident.
Medics transported three 15-year-old passengers to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
