VALLEY, NE – A three-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck killed one person on Thursday morning in west-central Douglas County.
The accident occurred just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Meigs Street and NE-275 on the far-east side of Valley, which is about 30 miles northwest of Omaha.
Thus far, police haven’t shared any details about the crash except to say that it involved an 18-wheeler, a car, and a camper.
One person involved in the wreck sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have not yet disclosed the victim’s name to the public.
There’s no word yet regarding additional injuries.
Officials closed roads in the area of the collision while emergency teams worked at the scene.
